Miss Lexie earned a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from UW-Madison and a master’s degree in History with a certificate in Museum Studies from UW-Milwaukee. She has always had a passion for education and nothing is more exciting to her than sparking a child’s interest in something new -- and witnessing that “a-ha” moment through a child’s eyes. Throughout college she served as a nanny for 5 years and as an Activities Coordinator at the Madison Children’s Museum. Prior to joining the KELC team she was a Lead Teacher in a 2-year-old classroom at a childcare center in Middleton.

Lexie grew up in Cross Plains with her family. She has two younger sisters, one in college and one in middle school. Her sisters are two of her closest friends and she spends time with them as often as possible. She is also very close to her parents who both live in Middleton.

In her free time, Lexie loves to play indoor and outdoor volleyball, and coaches her younger sister’s volleyball team. She also loves watching movies as well as attending Badger and Packer sporting events.
