MISS KELSEY

CORGIVILLE FAIR NURSERY

Miss Kelsey is the new float teacher between Corgiville Fair Nursery and Velveteen Rabbit. Kelsey grew up in Cedarburg with her parents and three younger sisters before going on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational and Professional Communications from UW – La Crosse. Being around so much chaos, love, and laughter growing up led her to realize a career with children was exactly what she’d been looking for.

Kelsey originally began working at Kids Express back in 2014 teaching the 1.5-2 year olds. A year and a half later she and her husband got married and moved out to Seattle to begin a new adventure together. After leaving KELC, she stayed on the childcare path and nannied for a wonderful family in West Seattle for 4.5 years. Kelsey is overjoyed to be back at KELC once again surrounded by the patient, kind, and caring individuals that help make this school so wonderful. Watching children make connections, not only with each other but with their discoveries of the world around them, is one of Kelsey’s favorite things about being a teacher.

Kelsey enjoys spending time at home with her husband Sam trying new recipes, doing puzzles, and playing with their cats Monty and Calvin. She also loves being outdoors, whether its kayaking, hiking, or biking, and is excited to be back where it snows in the winter as snowshoeing, sledding, and building snowmen are some of her favorite winter activities (along with hot chocolate)! As an avid Badger and Packer fan, Kelsey is excited not to have to cheer from afar anymore and will be trying to get to as many games as possible!
