My daughter is in Paddington Station this summer, and I thought you should know how wonderful all three teachers have been. She has had terrible anxiety about attending school full day, but the teachers have been amazing. When nap time appeared to be difficult for her, the teachers moved her closer to them, and she stopped crying at nap time. The teachers number the activities, so that she knows how long she has, and they told her if she feels like crying she can always ask for a squeeze. Last week when I picked her up, she said, "I really enjoy school. I think that is the first time I've ever said that."
Miss Noelle, Miss Mara, and Miss Dana have created a comfortable and loving environment in the classroom. It is a relief that I don't need to worry about her all day.

Thank you for a wonderful experience today at KELC. The facilities and environment are amazing. The curriculum was inspiring (Franziska is a Communication Studies professor at Edgewood, so we are both attune to curriculum development). Everything was "Wow". We will be submitting an application for the Fall 2011 term and that summer, too.

I wanted to send you a quick note to express my thanks to you, Lisa, and the W&W teachers for listening to and addressing my concerns with my son's placement. Placing any child in someone else's care is always somewhat of a leap of faith, and that leap is exponentially greater with an ASD child. Working with a preschool staff that not only hears but listens and responds to our concerns makes that much easier. Nick and I are grateful that we can send our son to KELC and that this fall his younger brother will join him.
