What is the age range of children enrolled at Kids Express?
KELC welcomes learners from 6 weeks of age through kindergarten during the academic school year, and offers a School Age summer camp program for children through age 10.
Do you offer part-time enrollment?
Yes. Children may attend 2 or 3 (rather than 5) days a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, respectively. Additionally, during the academic school year, we offer a half-day (mornings and afternoons), mixed-age program for children 3-5 years of age. During summer, all programs are full-day.
What is the cost of tuition?
Tuition varies depending on the schedule (part-time, full-time, extended care) and the program (nursery, toddler, twos, preschool, kindergarten).
How do I get my child into Kids Express Learning Center?
Submit a New Student Application with the $75 processing fee. Indicate your projected start date on the application. If we cannot offer the placement of your choice, we will place your child's name on a waiting list. Openings are offered to families according to waiting list order and the appropriate age range for the classroom with the opening. Families have 48 hours to accept an offer or may choose to maintain their waiting list status if the schedule is not of their choice. When will I hear from Kids Express, once I've submitted an Application?
You will receive a postcard confirmation shortly after we receive your application. Notification of classroom placement varies depending on the time of year - whether KELC is entering, nearing the end, or beyond a major enrollment phase. Parents should contact the Enrollment Manager, Lisa Knudson (lisaknudson@tds.net), for more specific information.
